This pattern continued until six centuries ago, when this ancient curse was meddled with beyond repair, resulting in a prophecy that would change life for all who dwell among the fae and mortals alike. Hekatia, the Queen of the Fae, refused to relinquish her soul, her power, and her love, for anything - and anyone.
